To accommodate bony prominence over the top of the foot; i.e., hammer toes, bunions, or any deformity that requires extra volume to reduce pressure over the top of the foot.
Increases stability of the shoe and gently forces the foot away from the modified side.
Used to reduce vertical pressure on areas of the bottom of the foot. May be used for bony prominences or ulcers.
This modification allows the use of footwear by patients with mobility or flexibility issues, vision impairment, or upper limb, hands, back, hips, or knee dysfunction.
